3rd OAD Asian Provincial Chapter. 

The 3rd OAD Asian Provincial Chapter, held last June, elected Fr. Crisologo Suan as Provincial Superior, assisted by the Councilors: Fr. Luigi Kerschbamer, Fr. Myzon Camay, Fr. Robin Dumaguit, Fr. Randy Lozano. Fr. Randy is at the same time the Provincial Secretary and Fr. Luigi the Provincial Treasurer.

There was a general reshuffling, with the three Communities of Cebu composed of the following:

 

Middle Tabor Community:

Fr. Luigi, Fr. Kenneth, Fr. John Biton, Fr. Robin, Fr. Catalino, Fr. Roland, Fr. Noel Cerna and Fr. Marcelino Galvan.

 

Lower Tabor Community:

Fr. Joel Sumo-oc, Fr. Marlon, Fr. Noel Ignacio, Fr. Jose, and Rev. John Ellit.

 

Sunny Hills Community:

Fr. Myzon, Fr. Cris, Fr. Randy, Fr. Jay, Fr. Recto, Fr. Renel, Fr. Roden and Fr. John Baptist.

In the Novitiate House in Leyte 7 brothers are completing their novitiate year and will have their simple profession of vows on October 13. Other 8 brothers started their novitiate last August 15.

At Lower Tabor, there are 26 aspirants all College Philosophy students. They are studying at Tabor Hill College at Upper Tabor, the new building, together with many other students of the levels from preschool and elementary to senior high.

At Middle Tabor the final number of the OAD simple professed brothers is 33, they are all studying theology at SMIRS, St. Monica Institute of Religious Studies at Upper Tabor.

To serve better the devotees and the Pilgrims, our mass schedules are the following:
Weekdays 5:45 am with integrated morning prayer; Thursday in honor of St. Rita: 5:45am, 10:30am and 6 pm; Friday Way of the Cross at 5am followed by Holy Mass. Saturday: 5:45am and anticipated Sunday Mass at 5:30pm. Sunday: 8am (Cebuano),
9:15am (Latin), 11am (English), 3pm (Cebuano) and 5pm (English). All this not to make the presence of the people too crowded. A plan of parking area and big church, the Shrine of the Holy Spirit, beside the Chapel of Relics is under preparation.

Fr. Anthony and Fr. Andrian, in Vietnam are campaigning for the construction of the new formation house in Ho Chi Minh to host the aspirants and postulants before they come to the Philippines. Other group of candidates are with Fr. Giovanni and Fr. Augustine in the St. Monica Formation house in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Fr. Aris and Fr. Jakomo are in Thailand studying the language to be effective in the evangelization of the new mission area in Chiang Rai in the north of Thailand afterwards.

In India, Fr. Paul, Fr. Aji, Fr. Julius and Fr. Shine, beside the parish work and the care of the candidates, they are looking for a proper land for the OAD mission.

This coming December 8, Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception, is the day of ordination to the Priesthood of the deacons who are undergoing their spiritual formation at Sunny Hills House during this month of October.
