

17 newly accepted aspirant & 2 novitiate brothers

Today, the church celebrates the martyrdom Saint Maximilian Mary Kolbe, on his noble and heroic act as he offered himself in place of a young husband and father. He is a priest and martyr.
On the hand, today is also a significant day of the Order of the Discalced Augustinians (OAD), because it is an investiture and acceptance for novitiate, these are Fra. Mande Milo and Fra. Michael Jay Asilo as they offered themselves, and deepen their discernment by embracing the community of brothers, carrying the cross of Christ and asking the mercy of God.

The Prior Provincial of St. Nicholas of Tolentino Philippine Province of the Order, Most Rev. Fr. Luigi Kerschbamer, OAD, accepted these two novices, and at the same time welcomes the 17 newly accepted aspirant brothers for Lower Tabor community which two of them will be for theology, 1 will be for senior high, and the rest of them are for college.

Furthermore, Fr. Noel Ignacio, as newly appointed Father Master of the Aspirant formation House in St. Thomas of Villanueva Aspirant community. Fr. Noel was a former missionary formator in Cameroon, Africa.
Indeed, it was a day and succesful celebrations.
​
Fr. Marlon Apat, OAD - International Vocation Director, presented the brothers to Fr. Luigi and then from Fr. Luigi endorsed these 17 brothers who came from different part of the country to Fr. Noel, not to mentioned as his big responsibilities, new challenges but he joyfully embracing it.
